Gamlitz Wine Blossom Festival
When the vines bloom, South Styria shows its most romantic side. The Wine Blossom Festival combines a nature experience with enjoyment and invites participants to a guided hike through the blooming vineyards. Along the way, participants can expect several tasting stations from regional winemakers as well as culinary delicacies from the South Styrian cuisine.

The Gamlitz Spring Wine Tasting is considered the official start of the wine season in Southern Styria. In the historic setting of Gamlitz Castle, numerous winemakers from the region present their new vintages – from fresh Welschriesling to elegant Sauvignon Blanc to strong varietal wines. Visitors have the opportunity to taste hundreds of wines, have personal discussions with producers, and gain exciting insights into terroir and aging.

For four days, the town center transforms into a festival zone with winemaker stands, live music, and regional specialties. Particularly popular are Sturm, fresh chestnuts (Maroni), and hearty delicacies from the Buschenschank kitchen.
